The dog industry is a very unregulated industry. Unlike many other professions anyone can call themselves a groomer, walker and even trainer without any kind of formal education or experience. The diversity in this industry is vast. As a consumer you have no protection. The industry is not very transparent in how they operate. Accidents and abuse are common. Something that could be avoided if education and guidelines are in place.
